BOARD COMMITTEE STRUCTURE SET BY

PRESIDENT

Board President Angela Dunlap has set the standing committee structure for the 2009-2010 fiscal year. The structure reduces the number of standing operational committees from seven to four and consolidates responsibilities. The old Property Committee and the old Rules and Appeals Committees are combined into the new Property / Rules Committee under the chairmanship of James Wilson.

The roles of the old Long Range Planning Committee and the Waterways Committee have been combined under the new Long Range Planning Committee with Dirk Lee as Chair. The new Building and Grounds Committee under Dan Merritt will deal with all issues involving CWC construction and property improvements projects, and the new Natural Resources Committee under Mike Toon, will handle all issues relating to oil, gas, timber, and other resources of the company.

"Consider the need for new rules, modification or repeal of existing rules as needed; Consider appeals to Rules; Consider property issues, variance requests as needed; make recommendations to the general board."

"Responsible for oil & gas negotiations and agreements in coordination with legal; manage other resources as needed including water quality, fisheries, water contracts, and timber; make recommendations to the general board."

"Review and make recommendations on the execution of or modification to the adopted long-range plan; revise the plan as needed and in consultation with the general board; plan waterways management including dredging and stump removal operations."

"Consider major maintenance needs, repairs, improvement projects and execute Long Range goals for Buildings and Grounds projects as needed; make recommendations to the general board."
